Okay, so the competition is as such:
Subject: Only one character can be in the drawing. Other objects can be in there, but only one can be considered a character. (If you're not sure about your composition, please ask)
Medium: Anything that produces a black and white piece. NO COLOUR.
Size: Honestly, it can be whatever. Just as long as you can get a decent digital copy of it.
Deadline: March 6, 2011

A few people expressed an interest in doing something like this.
I don't have a theme yet in mind, so I thought we could discuss it a bit, then start the competition.
I did think up a few guidelines though. Feel free to discuss these as well.
Size - 8.5 X 11
- mainly just to make sure it's scannable. If you have a scanner that can handle bigger, by all means go for it, then just resize it down the above. If you don't have a scanner, a camera photograph is fine too.
Medium - anything that is B/W (Graphite, charcoal, ink, etc) .
- colour is just a hassle, and almost comes down to how much you're willing to spend on supplies. We don't want to go out and buy things specifically for this competition.
Timelimit - 2 weeks?
- Sounds like a long enough time.
