^What my border looks like. ^what i want it to look like. As you can see, the second border is less choppy around the sides. Thats what I want. Help on how?

You make it about 4 times the size it's supposed to be, then scale it down once you're done. Or play with your anti-aliasing. Also try putting the brown layer on top of the border one.

You could try using out glow or drop shadow instead of using Stroke. Just crank up the spread. It should be more anti-aliased than stroke, but to an extent. It can get choppy.

So it should fix the choppy problem.
